Updated: Nov 28, 2023

Hands holding up a heart

In the spirit of community service, Lights Back On, Inc., though not meeting the revenue criteria for the Cobb Thrive Grant, is eager to express its sincere dedication to the thriving of Cobb County. As a small yet compassionate human services nonprofit, Lights Back On, Inc. recognizes the impact that essential services like electricity and water assistance, shelter, nutrition support, and a school supplies program can have on the lives of vulnerable populations in Cobb County.

While we may not meet the financial prerequisites outlined for the Cobb Thrive Grant (with organizational revenue between $75,000 and $1 million, excluding in-kind contributions and services), our organization is driven by a substantial desire to contribute to the betterment of Cobb County residents. Lights Back On, Inc. believes in the power of community collaboration and recognizes the pivotal role played by Cobb Community Foundation in fostering a fully engaged and supportive community.

In the spirit of partnership and community well-being, Lights Back On, Inc. extends an open invitation to Cobb Community Foundation for collaboration. We may not qualify for the Cobb Thrive Grant, but our big heart and unwavering commitment to service align seamlessly with the Foundation's mission. We are eager to explore opportunities to work together in addressing the unique challenges faced by vulnerable populations in Cobb County.

Lights Back On, Inc. is more than just an organization; it's a community partner with a genuine desire to make a positive impact. We understand that financial constraints limit our eligibility for certain grants, but our dedication to serving Cobb County remains resolute. Together with the Cobb Community Foundation, we can explore innovative ways to channel resources and support to those who need it most.

If you're interested in partnering with Lights Back On, Inc. or learning more about our community initiatives, we welcome the opportunity to connect.
